Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
- 1 cup (175g) semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate
- 3/4 cup (150g) granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup (50g) brown sugar (for that extra chewiness)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup (30g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Optional: 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, extra chocolate chunks, or swirl of Nutella 😍
👨🍳 Instructions:
1. Prep First:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line an 8×8 inch (20×20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
2. Melt Chocolate & Butter:
- In a saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, melt butter and chocolate together.
- Stir until smooth and let it cool slightly.
3. Whisk the Wet Stuff:
- Add in granulated sugar and brown sugar, whisk until combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
4. Add the Dry Ingredients:
- Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gently fold everything together until no flour streaks remain.
- Don’t overmix—this keeps the brownies nice and fudgy.
5. Bake:
- Pour the batter into your prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter!).
6. Cool & Slice:
- Let brownies cool completely in the pan before slicing for clean edges (or dive in warm if you’re impatient—we get it).
💡 Tips:
- Want extra fudgy brownies? Underbake slightly.
- Craving cakier brownies? Add one more egg and a touch more flour.
- Add a sprinkle of sea salt on top before baking for gourmet vibes.
